A day in paradise, Mexico

I'm not sure if I've already mentioned this but Mexico is one of my favourite places.
The food is perfection, the people are awesome and the beaches are beautiful.. add all of those things together and you'll find yourself at Paradise Beach, Cozumel.
Basically the name says it all - it is simply a paradise beach 'resort'.
For just $18 (USD) you can purchase a 'fun pass' wrist-band which allows you access to the whole resort and water toys including the water trampoline, water slides and the water rocker.
Extras included in your 'fun-pass' are kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkeling. Parasailing and motorized sports are available too but you do have to pay extra for these.
Aside from all the water fun they also offer the sand volleyball court, henna tattoos, hair braiding and a shopping area.
The beach area provides seating in both the sun and the shade but if sandy beaches and water sports aren't your thing (ARE YOU CRAZY!?) then maybe you'd prefer a lazy day by the fresh water pool.
The Paradise Beach pool has an amazing 'swim-up' bar and is filled with crystal clear water, water which is heated to 27°C in the winter.
Loungers are placed both in the water and around the pool side with free Wi-Fi plus food and drink service available.
Speaking of food and drink the menus are very reasonably priced with the most expensive dish on the menu costing less than $20 (USD). The food is beyond delicious and if you're treating yourself to an alcoholic drink I highly recommend the frozen strawberry daiquiri.
The resort is a 15 minute taxi ride from Cozumel Cruise Port and will cost you around $15 (USD). Taxis are easy to pick up both outside the port and outside the resort. I'm sure upon arrival you will happily be greeted by the resorts fascinating Macaws Rocky & Sunshine (as seen above).
